  "The man is just lovely. Amiko's inspirational photographs are excellent. The self portrait work is artistic, varied and full of humour, three excellent qualities in my mind. The captures from his many travels always introduce something of wonder - the heat and colour from the Maltese Luzzas make me drool, the drama of the Canada rail images make me shiver. He presents places I've never seen in a way that makes me want to get there myself. That makes them successful images. The 'Hooligans' and the watergarden are joyus photos, giving me much pleasure. I spend much time here, yet still there are images I've yet to view. He is always a delightful, encouraging flickrfriend, who I wish I knew personally. Those that do are the lucky ones. I think I plopped into this stream via a required 'comment-on-the photo-to-your-right' type group. And am I happy he was next in the Pool!

  "It all started on May 18, 2006. Paul posted a beautiful photo titled "Bead Girl". Later that month came iced tea and the rear end of a toad (you should really check this one out...). That got me hooked on his photos, and I'm happy to count him among my friends.
