I am married and the mother of three lovely children - a 21-year- old son (US Marine Sergeant, married to the lovely Kelcie), a 16-year-old son, and a 16-year-old daughter. They are my pride and joy.

I am also "Mom" to two Beagles, a cat, and various other critters that the kids bring home whenever they can get away with it.

Although I hold degrees in computer networking and secondary education (math major, chemistry and computer minors) , I have not worked for some time due to family issues. I hope to start substitute teaching this fall to ease myself back into the field. Teaching is definitely a passion and vocation for me.

In our spare time, my husband and I enjoy fishing, gardening, exploring our backyard (a network of county parks), and keeping up with Detroit Red Wings hockey. I also enjoy reading.

Waaayyyy back in high school, I had a Minolta and was a pretty decent photographer. Then life happened and now I take family snapshots with a P&S HP.

Flickr has inspired a desire to start taking some serious pictures again. We live in a beautiful world - photography is a worthy means of appreciating it.
