Since coming to Japan in 2003 I'd taken thousands of uninspired digital photos. Two freak computer incidents later and a whole slew of worthless snapshots were lost forever. In the advent of such events I concluded that it was past time to ditch digital and devote myself to being Basic B&W's latest prodigal promoter; a decision that made me realize that I'd never really stopped loving photography, I'd just gotten mixed up with the wrong crowd for a while there.
