I am a retired professor of Russian culture. I now live in Manhattan and in Hancock, Maine (not at the same time:). I speak Russian and Spanish, as well as my native English. I travel a good deal these days. My interests are varied: literature, art, classical music, architecture, nature, watercolor painting, gardening, and of course photography.
