Describe myself - errr - Small, fair skin with dark hair. Hazel/green eyes (that's my right eye up there on the left - but now it's some flowers - and now my beloved kitty Neelix). Lunatic, bomb proof, goes around in a state of complete bewilderment - uuuhhh????

I love cats and have two now - (Neelix - RIP 5/1/12), KoKo and Tigger the cheeky tabby!

I love tattoos - I have two and am thinking hard about the next. The people who have said that getting tattooed is addictive - are right!!

I am a huge Iron Maiden fan, also love Korn, Metallica, The Cocteau Twins and Emmas Imagination.

Was given a camera (Nikon D40X) as a prezzie (thanks Hun. x) so have only been taking photos for about five minutes - please bear with me! I haven't a clue what I'm doing with it and use it on 'idiot mode' at the moment! :o)

I'm female and taken - married to Tim (Harrisonland) for eleven years. The urge to put 'other' in the gender bit was just too overwhelming - bwaaahahahahaha!!!
I have been a nurse for 22 years and have never yet come across any other gender. Plenty of weirdos, nut jobs and freaks (mainly in the A&E dept) - but that's it!!

We have five children between us - his, mine and ours!
We live in Blackpool at the moment. I was brought up in a small village in Lancashire called Tottington (Bury) and Tim was brought up in Tirol (Austria).
My mum once said to me that she had no desire to go abroad because she wanted to see all of our own beautiful country first. I thought she was completely barking mad! Now, being a bit older, and wiser I have come to appreciate what she was saying. I love my country and all it's variations. If I could go anywhere in the world to live, it would have to be Keswick. The place is just stunning. We have a 'hit list' of places to visit, for me the Scottish Highlands is right at the top of that list. We love camping and Youth hostelling and I would LOVE my own small camper van. The thought of just jumping in a van and seeing where life takes us is very very appealing! I'd love to go around the whole coast of Britain too!

I'd LOVE to take photos at a Tranny/Gay Pride or Punk event, though maybe not at the same time - imagine the pandemonium (although the resulting photos would be priceless)!!

I love colour in photos and black and white images from grave yards and cemeteries - they can be a bit eerie but strangely compelling. Oh, and boats! Dunno why boats but hey, whatever floats your boat! :o)
I like photos as they come out of the camera - with minimal 'faffing'.

I'm addicted to Flickr!!!!

I got banned from the 'My own creation group' (does that make me well hard?) I have absolutely no idea why and when I Flickr mailed (very politely I might add) the one and only admin to find out why, she blocked me. Oh well, get over yourself luv!!!

I got a tripod for a prezzie - woo hoo - thanks again Hun! :o)

25/10/2008. I decided to start my own group - bless me!! We (Tim and I) have been fortunate enough to have traveled about the UK a fair bit. In that time we have seen various what I would call tributes. Things that are unique to, or tell of the history of that area/location, such as the Lambanana in Liverpool (the export/import of lamb and bananas!!). I love them and some you stumble on quite by accident. I want to see as many as possible, so have started my group - which is called Local monuments, tributes or Follies, UK. If you have any suitable photos - please consider posting them to the group! Thank you! :o)
