I specialize in state capitols and county courthouses. I have photographed all 50 U.S. state capitols. A set of a favorite exterior photo of each capitol is located here:

Though I have conducted original research and have consulted many additional sources in compiling the architectural histories of each of the buildings I have photographed, the following sources in particular have been quite helpful:

- State Houses: America's 50 State Capitol Buildings, by Susan W. Thrane and Tom Patterson (Erin, ON: Boston Mills Press, 2005).
I appreciate receiving comment and invitations to submit my images to groups, but I prefer not to receive comments with very large GIFs, particularly animated ones. I will delete comments which include such irrelevant graphics.
