Hi, My name is Darlene & I'm an amateur photographer. My husband, Mike, & I reside in the midwest but long to be able to retire someday and move out west. I have always been fond of the great outdoors, but it wasn't until my first trip to Ontario, Canada many years ago and subsequently to Alberta, British Columbia, Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, and the southwest that I finally realized that my "home away from home" is in the mountains. You just can't beat the crisp, clean, refreshing mountain air and all the spectacular scenery & wildlife opportunities it has to offer.

Photography has become my latest passion and one that I hope to maintain for many years to come....landscapes & wildlife are without a doubt my favorite subjects. I've always been a fast learner, so if you have any suggestions or ideas on how I can improve my work, please feel free to send them my way. She gets shots of grizzlies and wolves, something I've not been able to do in two trips to Yellowstone, and I am jealous of her for that!
