I'm a reporter in South Carolina. I have taken photographs for most of my life and went digital about 18 months ago. I'm still learning my way around.

But I'm having lots of fun. One thing I've learned since I began a project on Oct. 16, 2007, to shoot a picture every day is that I look at the world differently. Anything can become a photograph if you look at it the right way. So far, I've kept up my shooting and haven't missed a single day - although I have taken some pictures I probably won't show anybody.

My theory is that I picture my life. I take pictures where I am and of what I'm doing. I like people so I include them many times. But I also like material objects as well as nature subjects. All of those pose for me.
