Thank you for visiting my Flickr photostream.

Photography is more than a hobby to me…it is a different way to see the world, an outlet for creativity and a means of communicating.

I started this hobby in the 1990s after graduation, and it was with an old 1980s Minolta XG-M SLR and films that I gained solid grounding in the technicalities of photography. After a few years, I stopped because the cost of the hobby is too great to maintain on a meager salary.

The passion reignited again with the birth of my eldest daughter in 2003. I made the first investment on a Canon 400D DSLR and a few more lenses came in 2004. The 400D was soon upgraded to 40D, and because Canon doesn’t make a “4D”, I have to settle for a Canon 7D which I’m using since late 2011 till now.

I like to shoot all sorts of genre, though most of the time it is dominated by portraitures of my two lovely daughters, landscapes, food photography (which combines photo taking with my passion in cooking), a new found interest in street photography and of course travel photography. Yes, there’s still so much more to learn and do.
