The Squid Ink Kollective was founded in the fall of 2007 by Brian Maclaskey, with a vision and commitment to handmade products. Printmaking is our passion, and this medium allows us to share it with the general public as an accessible alternative to mass production. This company represents the hard work and commitment of artists to making a creative-based living. Thanks for your support in making our vision come to fruition!
We do all screen-prints by hand with water-based, non-toxic inks, that are heat-set to the fabrics. Water-based inks actually dye the fabric, rather than sit on top like plastisol/oil-based inks. They do not wrinkle and flake off like those inks!
