Making photos and Photoshopping are my biggest hobbies. I always carry my little Sony Cybershot WX1 with me. Maybe not the best camera, but light and small.
I live in Leiden, The Netherlands. This city is a dream for (hobby) fotographers. Leiden is an old university city with one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world, the Hortus Botanicus, where Mr. Clusius did research on tulips, that lead to the tulip trade as we know it now. Outside as well as inside (greenhouses) are a lot of exotic plants and flowers to be photographed. Leiden has canals and I read somewhere that leiden has 1200 monuments.
Since I post my photos on flickr I 'met' a lot of nice people. One of them incouraged me to try to make some more 'arti' photos. That is so much fun and my whole view on looking at things changed. I'm much more focussed on details now.

Last but not least I like to thank all my loyal contacts for all their kind comments.
It is nice if people make me a contact but if I don't hear from them anymore, so now and then, I delete them as contact, to keep more overview in finding contacts where I have real contact with.
