Creativity is my heartbeat...

I am a writer, working with an editor on my first novel, and hope to sign with the publisher by the end of this year.

I am a singer and musician, playing guitar, sax, and percussion, amongst other things.

I travel as often as I can, and so far the coolest places I have been are New Zealand and South Africa (where I happened to live for two years)

I have enjoyed taking photographs for over ten years, and though I don't know all of the technical ends of things, the creative end feeds my soul. I am enjoying learning more, as it opens up more opportunities. Currently I am using three different film SLR cameras and look forward to getting a DSLR one of these days...

I also enjoy working with my hands, whether it is pottery, using a jigsaw and wood for an art or building project, or doing wonderful things with glass

I love this beautiful planet, and though I enjoy all fauna, I happen to be completely obsessed with birds, a self-professed bird nerd. I have been lucky enough to work at zoos and aviaries for the past 5+ years, and there is hardly anything cooler than watching a child when you stand in front of them, owl or falcon or parrot on your arm, and see the sense of wonder on their face

I'm also long-winded... can't you tell? :)
