My name is Richard, and I joined flickr nearly 2 years ago. I have always enjoyed photography, and have had some good cameras in the past, such as Pentax and Canon 35mm SLR's. I now use a basic digital camera, which fullfils all my photographic needs for the time being. One day I might get something better.
I work as a Registered Nurse and semi-professional Close Up Magician, one of my other great loves.
I'm married to Sarah, who hates magic and magicians, but is very tolerant when I practise on her.
I feel the spirit of flickr is all about sharing your photos with other people and commenting on other people's photos. It's a chance to meet people from all over the world and see the world through their eyes. It's as if all differences are forgotten while we enjoy the beauty and varity of our planet through each others photography.
