I spent the first 25 years of my career in photographic sales helping pros and hobbyists alike decide which photographic equipment best suited their needs. All the while, I was an avid photographer myself. In 2000 I left sales to become a full-time professional wildlife and nature photographer. I have been published in Outdoor Photographer, Outdoor Photography (UK), Photoshop User, and Layers magazines. You will also find my photography on Audubon calendars, as well as postcards, calendars, and posters for the National Park Service.

I lead wildlife photography safaris in North America (www.laurieexcell.com) and am an instructor with the Digital Landscape Workshop Series (www.digitallandscape.org), Photoshop World (www.photoshopworld.com), and Cruising Through Life (www.cruisingthroughlife.com) training extravaganzas. I also run a business called EQuipmentLady (www.equipmentlady.com), where I sell photographic equipment on consignment for other photographers when they upgrade their equipment. Oh, and in all of my spare time, I'm the Photo Equipment Advice Desk Guru for the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
