Laguna Canyon Foundation's photostream |
Laguna Canyon Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting and enhancing the 20,000-acre South Coast Wilderness, southern California's second largest coastal canyons wilderness. We offer volunteer training, public volunteer days, guided hikes, summer camps, education programs and other activities in Laguna Coast and Aliso and Wood Canyons wilderness parks. We were instrumental in securing funding and providing ongoing support for the Nix Nature Center in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. We also helped establish the wilderness park system in 1991 and have facilitated its expansion with land purchases using state bond funds. Our motto is KEEP IT WILD!
