I'm a freelance reporter and sub-editor living in Wellington, New Zealand. I have a special interest in health writing. A good day is when I walk in Wellington's leafy suburbs and catch up with family or friends. My partner, Jon, loves tearing up the Makara hills on a mountain bike. I'm more of your coffee nut.
I always write 'Photo: Virginia McMillan' in my captions but in spite of this, websites that grab my pics attribute to 'virginia.mcmillan'. Sigh. I never use PhotoShop or HDR, but on occasion I make small adjustments using iPhoto on the Mac.
