I'm a professional and commercial artist for 25 years with a background in corporate advertising and marketing. I'm currently the department head for a graphic design college and love sharing my knowledge of marketing, photography, drawing, design, art history, or general art. I've been photographing since I was 12 and have been an enthusiast since then.

My design and photography spans television, newspaper, magazines and the music industry such as CTV, CBC, MCA/Universal, Scientific America, American Machinist, Conde Naste Magazine, New York Times, and other various online and offline media publications.

I recently started to build an official online 500px portfolio which can be found at www.artbookphotos.com. There you may find similar pictures of mine in Flickr, but also many other photos never seen here.



I used to be Nikon film users then made a switch to digital via Canon first. I currently use a Canon EOS 5DmkII, Nikon D700, Canon EOS 7D Olympus Pen E-P3 and a Canon EOS 50D .

Photography to me has always been a fantastic tool to help extend my creativity. Every day I learn something new from it.

I have some modifiers like the Kenko extension tubes, Lensbaby 2.0, Raynox DCR-250 the Tamron 1.4x Pro Teleconverter and the Sigma 2X APO Teleconverter. I've also use on occasion a point and shoot camera the Nikon Coolpix s600 and my Blackberry curve.

I also have a couple of pinhole camera caps and mods. I've tried the best to list all the lenses I've had my hands on in the last little while. Some of these listed are film era lenses and have been adapted to work on Canon EF mounts. I use a variety of AF confirm adapters for Nikon, M-42 and T-2 mounts.
