Have been taking snaps off and on for 20 years but bought a DSLR in may 2008 to try and produce something a bit more creative.
Thanks to Stephen for his inspiration and advice.
Well just over three years on flickr now and the urge to delete most of my earlier shots is getting stronger all the time, I've managed to resist so far and hopefully you can see some improvement in my pics since I started. Thanks to everyone who's taken time to look at my photostream, your comments, criticism and advice are always welcome.
Joined Ayr Photographic Society in Sept 2010, and I'm enjoying the challenge of the monthly competitions as well as many of the talks by members and visiting photographers.
