I work in graphic arts and am old enough to remember when graphic arts was a hands-on craft and not all digital. So in my personal work I like to work low tech - shooting film, shooting expired film, using toy cameras, using old, completely manual, film cameras of questionable quality, etc. The irony of course is that even working low tech I still need to go digital to show them to you and, at times, have reworked my low tech images in Photoshop to get the effect I want. I didn't say I was consistent, though I do try to keep the digital manipulation to a minimum - usually just enough to tease out details that are lurking in the negs anyway.
