I live in a city where ceramic is (almost!) the most important thing. I love to make my own RAKU creations and I'm happy to see that people enjoy them!
Raku is a way of cooking clay (ceramic). Each object is extracted from the furnace at a temperature of 1000 ° C and put under dry leaves, sawdust ...
This makes the clay black and can produce precious metal and iridescent effects.
