Hi,
I am a husband, father, and artist. My galleries will be my own original art and restored historical pieces that celebrate Marine Corps history and traditions.

My original art is primarily watercolors, although I am experimenting with oils a bit as well.

I started restoring some old Marine Corps recruiting posters for my own collection and it occurred to me that it would be great to make them available to other people as well. The recruiting posters in my galleries were scanned from original art that was used and seen by the American public. I strive to restore each piece to its original condition when first experienced. That said, these are not restored to "pristine" condition devoid of character. Every piece is evaluated before and during restoration to ensure the original feel is retained so the collection truly feels like a step back into time.

I joined the U.S. Marines in 1988, went to boot camp at Parris Island, participated in Desert Shield / Desert Storm as a M60A1 tank gunner in a breeching team; subsequently served as a platoon Sergeant in a special weapon company (Dragons anti-tank / 81mm mortars). In 1994 I earned an Honorable Discharge.

If you are affiliated with a charity or service group and are interested in offering any our our prints as part of a fund raiser that benefit Marines or organizations that help Marines both current and former, please contact me about receiving prints at a significantly reduced cost.

I hope you enjoy the image galleries and be sure to download some free wallpapers for your computer at: www.LeatherneckArt.com
