I live in Canberra, Australia and I really like it here having traveled and changed countries a lot in my youth. I'm originally Polish. I have also lived in Sweden for a long time and in the US for a couple of years.
I used to work as a manager in IT services at a University. I don't work at present. Photography is one of my big interests, especially recently. I have a Canon EOS 7D with a macro (100mm) lens, a wide angle lens and now also a telephoto lens (70-200mm) with a 2x extender and an MP-E65 macro lens. I have been taking a lot of photos over the last couple of years and I'm having a lot of fun doing this.
I love taking macro photos, bird photos and photos of strange objects. I am definitely only just learning how to do it well.
I am really enjoying using flickr, sharing my photos and looking at magnificent photos of others. I'm looking forward to making some more flickr friends.
