I'm a nature loving massage therapist who grew up in a small town called Litchfield, CT exploring the woods, brooks, and fields around my family's house. My bug collection was my pride and joy when I was little :D Yeah, I was THAT kid! Since I can remember, I've always had pets....all kinds of pets! Lizards, snakes, rats, gerbils, hamsters, cats, dogs, tadpoles, ferrets, fish, birds, turtles, a pot-bellied pig for 2 weeks, and a squirrel.
There was a lot to do outdoors in CT and I spent most of my free time in nature. I continue to be amazed and interested in wilderness and all it's beauty.
Trying to capture it with my camera is the fun part! Interpreting what I see in nature (or in my head) and painting on canvas with oils is another joy I have.
The Fall and Winter are my favorite times of the year in Florida since it's the only time I can do anything outside for longer than an hour without sweating through my clothes! I love Florida....just not the summers.
