In my early twenties I owned a Nikon SLR, and enjoyed developing/ enlarging my photos in a makeshift darkroom. After the camera and lenses were stolen I didn't replace ( I purchased a computer with the insurance money).

About 18 months ago I purchased my first digital SLR, a Canon EOS 400d. During the last 18 months I have collected the following equipment:

Canon EOS 400d DSLR
Canon 18-55 (kit lens)
Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC HSM
Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG Macro
Lensbaby 2.0
Lensbaby Macro kit
Lowepro 100aw kit bag
Manfrotto 785b tripod
Canon RC-1 Remote Controller
Cokin Square filter system with various neutral density and gradual neutral grey filters.
Hoya Circular filter & skylight filter
Photoshop CS3 software

I have recently sold the camera, kit lens & wide angle lens (still need to sell the 70-300 lens), and am in the process of replacing with:

Canon 5D Mk ii
Canon 24-105L Lens
Canon 100-400L zoom Lens
Canon MP-E-65 Macro Lens
Canon MR-14 Macro Lite Flash
Canon Speedlite 430EX II Flash
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Prime Lens
Lowepro 300AW camera bag
