Aldo36 - Busy This Weekend - So Off's photostream  

I live in Inverkip on the West Coast of Scotland.
I have been married to Anne for 33 years and have one son (Alan), who has a degree in IT.

I have lived in Inverclyde all my life and retired from Strathclyde Police after 31 years on 30 June 2010.

I am now working part-time on an adhoc basis for the local council, doing a job I supervised over when I was in the Police,(CCTV Operator) , but when I am able, I intend to spend more time out and about with my camera.

I try to see shots from a different angle, sometimes successful, sometimes not, and tend to post what I have taken without trying to "tart " the image up on Photoshop, unless it really needs it!!.

I hope you enjoy some of the shots I have enjoyed taking and hope you will post some comments on them - constructive criticism accepted within reason!!!
If someone takes the time out to leave a comment on one of my photos, as a matter of courtesy I will post a comment on one of their's.

Please do not "favour" an image without leaving a comment.

I know I have a great number of contacts now, but I will endeavour to reciprocate comments as soon as possible.

Please do not be offended if I do not post a comment immediately as I only switch on the computer in the evenings and sit at the screen for a short while, trying to catch up.

I also like having as many contacts as I enjoy seeing various parts of the world through the images of others - some areas I may yet visit, some I may not, but it is still really interesting to see other views, cultures etc portrayed through other people's photostreams, and occasionally exchange comments / points of view with them.
