La RIOJA is the most famous wine region of Spain, but apart from the quality of the red elixir in its valleys, little is known about this small region of Northern Spain.
And even less about the small capital of the province, LOGROÑO, with a population of approximately 130.000 citizens. However, it is a place, one of the most important
CAMINO DE SANTIAGO - St JAMES' WAY. Lives with a slow pace and a pleasant city centre. There are many wineries that you can visit. Here shows the process of elaboration of the WINE. Some wineries, offer guided along with a typical lunch of La Rioja. Most of them you can buy wine directly and at a good price. It is important to note that autumn is harvest time and wineries tend to be very busy, but if you are lucky enough to visit during the harvest, which you can see how the grapes arrive.

La RIOJA es la region vitivinícola más famosa de España, pero aparte de la calidad del elixir rojo de sus valles, poco se sabe acerca de esta pequeña región del norte de España. Y menos aún sobre su pequeña capital de la provincia, LOGROÑO, con una población de aproximadamente 130.000 hab. Sin embargo, es uno de los lugares más importantes del CAMINO DE SANTIAGO. Vive con un ritmo lento y un centro urbano agradable. Hay muchas bodegas que se pueden visitar. Allí se muestra el proceso de elaboración del VINO. Algunas bodegas ofrecen visita guiada junto con un almuerzo típico de La Rioja. En la mayoría de ellas se puede comprar vino directamente y a un buen precio. Es importante tener en cuenta que el otoño es la época de la cosecha, y que las bodegas suelen estár muy ocupadas, pero si se tiene la suerte de visitarlas durante la cosecha, se podrá observar cómo van llegando las uvas.
El paisaje durante el Otoño es sorprendente.
