Currently living in Gosport, Hants. I became interested in photography around the age of 5, and since then have done a lot of amateur work; I aim to make it my profession in the near future.


I prefer landscapes and have done a fair bit of portraiture with some success (mainly my family). I don't have a preference - I love the expressions and the deep, deep feelings portraiture can evoke and the deep, deep feelings a good landscape can bring out in the viewer - but landscapes have always been my forté.


I used to use a Canon 1000F film SLR and bog-standard 35-mil Fujifilm film, but that seems to have been rather redundant, after I was handed-down a 20D a while ago. Originally all of my photography was with a Samsung L730 compact, a tiny thing, but I haven't yet evolved further than my 20D and a few average-type lenses.

I try to convey in every photograph a story, a vision; I insist that the viewer looks - but also sees - into the shot, stops to think.

I hope some of my shots are of interest, but of course I'm ecstatic just for someone to say, "I like that".
