I believe that taking a good photograph is about finding the art that exists in everyday life. Every scene has hidden attributes that must be identified and captured. When one discovers that unique perspective from which those attributes are best displayed, and properly composes the elements that most effectively support the mood of the scene, then a masterpiece is born.
I'm a husband and father to 6 wonderful children. I'm also a student at the International Academy of Design and Technology. After recently completing my Associates in Graphic Design, I'm now pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Digital Media Production. In addition, I am President of Ice Photo & Design LLC, a company that I recently founded.
My family is my life. Photography is an outlet for my creative side. I work hard constantly to better my skills and knowledge as both a photographer and as an artist. I came across flickr a year ago. I joined, not only to display my work, but also to learn from all the great flickr artists and to enjoy their work. Viewing the incredible images on this site has pushed me to stretch my abilities to the limit. There is no doubt, since joining flickr, that I have improved in my craft tremendously over the past few months. I'm happy to add as many contacts as possible. However, I will check out your photostream, favorites, etc first as I will only add those who have "family friendly" flickr accounts. I am a family man and I work hard to keep everything clean. Please check out my work and let me know what you think. Also, please don't post awards or comments on my images without writing something in your own words. This has to be my greatest irritation with this site. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy getting invites and awards. But, what I really care about is what you personally think about my images. I make it a point to always write something in a comment box before pasting a code. Please be considerate, and do the same. Thank you so much, and please enjoy my work.
