If you arrived here expecting to see some of my own artwork, I hope you're not disappointed by what you find. I'm no expert, but the best way to learn is to take lots of pictures, which I'm attempting to do.

If you arrived here to complain or tell me off for faving your work without commenting or because I don't have much in the way of my own content, please don't. I'm generally a lurker, and while I do sometimes comment if I think I have something important to contribute, I very much like to browse in silence from the shadows.

Now, a little about me...

I'm a foodie and a baker, and some day I'll be a certified Pastry Chef. For now, I'm a student at the Canadian Centre of Culinary Arts & Science at Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning. My primary interests are baking, cooking, and photography. My other interests include camping, science fiction and fantasy, geek culture, and music. I also love to drive.

I'm 26, fairly happy, and in the process of making my dreams come true. I live with mum and her two dogs, and whatever other family members happen to be in the house on any given day.

Once upon a time I used a lovely Nikon SLR with five lenses that is older than I am, but I much prefer digital photography and just don't have the time or the patience for film anymore. Someday I'll own a DSLR, but for now I use a cute, little, mostly-automatic Panasonic DMC-LZ6. While it doesn't offer as many artistic features as an manual, it's what I can afford, and it suits me OK. At least I can take pictures.
