The ABC of things that make me happy (includes random items in no particular order and no connection with each other)

A - applique, antiques, architecture, abstracts, aurifil thread, Apfelstrudel (made by mom), art deco

B - blues (color and music), beads, birds, buttons, a beach in wintertime, black&white, browns (as in earthtones), batiks, baking

C - cats, crazy quilt, chocolate, circles, clouds

D - dots (as in polka dots), daisies in a meadow, dragonfly

E - embellishments, embroidery (as in crazy quilt, redwork), eclectic things

F - fabric, flying geese, funky things, flickr groups, florence (italy), flowers

G - gardens/gardening, grey, greens, geometric designs, grandchildren

H - houses (especially wonky quilty ones), halfsquare triangles, hectagons, Hundertwasser (artist)

I - indigo, italy, icecream, ikebana

J - jade, jukebox (as in music from the 40s and 50s), japanese designs (the traditional ones)

K - kaleidoscopes, knitting, kanab (utah), kimono silks

L - linen, laughing with friends, log cabins, leaves, Leonardo Da Vinci (I love his technical drawings)

M - monument valley, modern quilt designs, music, mountains

N - navajo designs, nature, nuts, nougat, night sky (especially with a full moon)

O - ocean, octagons, orange (yes, I am not afraid of orange)

P - polkadots, paper piecing, photograpphy, pinwheels, Paul Flora (artist), Pasta (what can I say, it's comfort food)

Q - quilts, quirky things, quiet, quilting magazines

R - random desings, red, rocks, rainbow, ribbons

S - scrappy quilts, squares, stripes, salzkammergut, stars in the sky, sashiko, salty and sweet, sandy beaches, sunflowers, solitude

T - turquiose, triangles, travel the world, trees (especially very old and gnarly ones), texture

U - unique things,

V - vacation, venice (italy), vintage

W - water, waves, wool, wood, wonky quilting, white&black

X - ??

Y - yarn, yellow, yoyos (love to hate them)

Z - zigzag, zen, zentangles
