This is the online photographic record of work, both in progress and completed, to make Ventnor, Isle of Wight, UK. A smarter and more attractive place to live in and visit.

This is a part of the five year Town Plan for Ventnor. A plan that was developed by our community, and is led by a team of unpaid volunteers (on behalf of the local council).

Each year of the Plan (2008-2012) is shown as an Action Plan for that year. Hence the name for this year's Action Plan is Ventnor 2008

The work you see reflects the environmental improvements affecting the fabric of our town. The detail of which you can find in our web site.

The majority of the work you will see in this collection is managed by our Town Centre Manager, Rob Reed. Where that is not the case, this will be tagged as such.

Many of our residents and visitors have asked how we are progressing with the Town Plan. We felt a photographic record and archive was the best way to do this, and we are very grateful for flickr technology to enable this to happen!

We are very keen to include photographs of work individuals and local voluntary groups have carried out, to improve Ventnor. If you would like to add your images to this collection, then please contact us via the web site.
