I would best describe myself as an artist or at least trying hard to be one! Hoping to create works that elicit a smile, evoke a mood, or make you think. Some of my creations are quite normal (as normal goes), while others are a bit moody or "out there". My sense of humor sometimes skews towards the odd or slightly warped! I LOVE a lot of the "outsider" or "urban" art that's gaining popularity more each day. However, I personally don't like to dwell too much on the morose...after all, it can be more than dark enough here on Earth without my adding to it. I will create some pieces that border on those darker aspects, but won't take it to the extreme. To me, there has to be that opportunity to look past the sadness or the darkened mood of a work of art...there has to be hope there. I, more than anything, try to remain an eternal optimist!
