Hi there! My name is Ryan. My family and I live in upstate, NY. Delhi to be exact (pronounced Del HIGH). We are located on the outskirts of the Catskill Mountains, between Albany and Binghamton. About 3 hours from NYC.

I am one of those rare male quilters. Well, I guess, not so rare any more. I've run into so many since discovering the BLOG!

I am the father of 2 young boys ages 6 and 2. My wife is a scrapbooker. We share a spare bedroom for studio space. We both work full time and most of our creative ventures happen after 9PM when the kiddos are in bed.

I didn't start quilting until my mid twenties. I'm 31 now, so that's not too long ago. At the time my first son was due to be born in a few months and my wife and I had decided to make the curtains our self for our sons room. Now I'm not sure If my wife was not feeling well or I was just on a roll with the painting and putting together of the room (I can't stop myself with the projects sometimes) but I ended up making the curtains. They came out well, and I must have gotten the bug! I've been using the sewing machine ever since!
