I was born in Ontario, Eastern Canada, of Dutch parents who immigrated from Holland to Canada in the 50's. I then spent ten years in Western Canada, in Alberta, and have now lived in the USA, Colorado, since 1986, with the exception of 2 years in Ethiopia, Africa. I am a busy, married, mother of five kids (24,23,21,19,14--three now living on their own--4 boys, one girl) and am a new Grandma! When I'm not working, I like to read, paint, explore country roads, take pictures (like to leave them soc as much as possible), and watch wheel of fortune and Antique Roadshow. I love animals, especially dogs and horses.
I love taking pictures so much that I bring my camera pretty much everywhere I go. I am learning lots. I want to get good enough that I could be out there taking pictures full time!
I especially love taking pictures of wildlife, landscape and horse pictures. Here in Colorado there are plenty of great photo opportunities! Love living here!
