  "I would not be a photographer if it wasn't for Lauren, nor would I even be interested in photography. The detail, the colors, the emotion, and the expression she puts into all her photos is just incredible. You can tell she knows what she's doing, and that she loves doing it. I have never been so captivated and inspired by anything more than her work. She captures moments with such ease, and seems to have a wonderful and fun loving personality. I've gone through her 365 so many times, because it's just so inspiring. A majority of her work is so colorful and fun, and has creativity spilling out of it. I remember I was sick for about 2 weeks, and within that two weeks, I read books and books about photography, and grew more inspired by Lauren's work, and how easy she made it look to capture those perfect moments. Obviously, it's not as easy as it looks, haha, but I've learned so much this past year, by just having a camera in my hands, and everyone just needs to know that this woman is amazing. :)

She was the first person I ever added as a contact on Flickr and I still remember coming across here photostream and thinking "Woah, she is AMAZING!" and that feeling still hasn't changed. Lauren has such great creativity. Everyday she comes up with some different kind of concept for her 365 and they are always so unique! The lighting in her pictures kills me too, it's fantastic. When you look through her photos you are sure to see excellent composition and a LOT of color!

  "This testimonial is going to be a little biased, as it is about my very best friend. That damn Lauren has ruined photography for me, forever. This is because I will constantly be comparing other pictures hers and thinking, "Lauren could do it better." Having been her subject in many photos I have learned much about the creative process that Lauren uses. I watch those wheels turn in her head as she squints her eyes and snaps a picture. I've seen the pictures on the small screen of her camera and then been simply astounded at their appearance days later on the screen. I am so lucky to have seen her evolve from a girl with a no-frills digital camera who liked to document adventures with friends to an internet famous, fully functional professional photographer who continues to amaze me each day with her creativity.   Her stuff will blow your socks off...so make sure you wear shoes when viewing her stream!! Or make sure to take off your socks BEFORE viewing it. Everytime I'm at school [not doing my work, but on flickr instead] and take a gander at her photos I make sure to take BOTH my shoes AND socks off. This is because her stuff is so potent on me that it blows both right off of my feet. One time I was just sitting there and looking through the amazingness when I realized I forgot to take the necessary precautions...needless to say, before I knew it I was naked. It's actually quite a nice way to clear the room. That way when you're looking through her godly portrayal of the world, you have less distractions and more attention to focus towards the beauty that she posts.
