Hi everyone,
Each day I visit flickr I am blown away by the level of talent and sense of community I find here. You are all so kind and supportive. Thank you!

It seems to be a fairly common story here, but I got into cakes four years ago when I decided I wanted to make my son's Thomas the Tank Engine birthday cake. It was rather pathetic, but a love of all things cake (and later cookie) was born. Since then I have worked to build my skills through information I have found on websites and in books. However, the most valuable information I have found was through the generosity of fellow cake/cookie artists. Thank you so much, and I aspire to have half the talent most of you have!
