" Most photographers start off shooting with everything on auto and once they feel comfortable with the camera, they play with the settings until they get a hang of shooting manually. Not this guy. Starting with his very first film SLR camera, Bert taught himself everything he knows. As his collection of cameras grew, so did his talent. He has an eye for unique photographic settings, and when you look at his photos, his creativity shows. Also, I didn’t think it was possible, but he has got shooting from the hip down to a science! His candid shots somehow turn out better than my carefully thought out photos!
Bert’s experimental style and knowledge of everything film has really inspired me to think outside the box, and sparked a talent inside of me I never knew how to express before.
