The Crafty Hag is an artist with Midwestern roots, currently located in St. Petersburg, FL. Her work is primarily focused on linoleum block printmaking techniques. The Crafty Hag is about variety and doesn't believe in limiting yourself to one type of creativity! Artistically her affinities lie with the German Expressionist movement combined with a touch of Dada. She loves printmaking becuase the marks you don't make are often more important than those you do. She loves the understated challenge of creating in black and white and the resulting boldness of shapes and contrast.

Coralette exhibits locally at select galleries and art festivals as well as online at www.craftyhag.com. As The Crafty Hag, Coralette is free to be herself and let her sense of humor be her guide. Her artwork has a definite sassy edge and colorful zest for life. Coralette strives to make art you can afford because as someone once said, “Without art, we’re all just monkeys with car keys.”
