I am a disabled mom of 4 wonderful girls. Jazmyn is 22, Bristol is 19, Belanah is 14, and Fiona is 7. Bristol and Fiona both have forms of Autism and I have worked very hard to try to make their lives as easy as possible. Bristol is functioning at a nearly normal level right now. She is now on the honor roll and planning on attending college to get a degree in media arts. Fiona is a million times better than she was when she was first diagnosed at 14 months old. She is now happy and verbal and extremely smart (at a genius level). She does not understand social cues and is extremely dependent upon routine and still has many sensory problems. However, she is learning at an incredible rate, reading at a college level and taking a second language.She is now in the second grade. I am very proud of her. Jazmyn is attending Purdue University at this time, going for a degree in Botany. She has grown into an amazing woman and I love that about her. I couldn't be prouder. Finally, my Belanah. She is an all around girl next door. She is an honor student, a cheerleader (already for 7 years), a top level gymnast, plays soccer, basketball, and track. She is a wonderful child, I am blessed to have her. I lead a very fulfilling life, and I enjoy editing photos at night when I can't sleep from my pain. It helps me take my mind off of it for awhile.

The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything...they just make the best of everything they have!
