I'm Jamie, and I help people overcome any health challenge and create their best health ever using a blend of ancient health systems, tonic herbs from around the world, nutrition, and leading-edge functional medicine diagnostic technologies.

I'm no snake oil salesperson. I have degrees in biology & anthropology from Hendrix College, a master's degree in Chinese medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, professional certifications in acupuncture, herbology, and Oriental Medicine (aka Asian Medicine), a lifetime of not only "talking the talk", but also "walking the walk" (meaning I lead a healthy lifestyle which includes daily yoga & meditation, sunshine, energized water, a toxin-free diet, tonic herbs, laughter, and honesty, & restraint from alcohol, grains, drugs, candy, misconduct, and wrongful speech), and several years of clinical experience with real, live patients (including outpatients at the San Diego children's hospital, terminally ill people, performance athletes, yogis, stay-at-home moms, grannies, seekers of immortality, and "healthy" people with aches and pains and real health problems their doctor accidentally overlooked).

Ongoing continuing education is required for all Diplomats of Oriental Medicine, and I take my continuing eduction very seriously. Though Asian Medicine is literally thousands of years old, it is still evolving within our uber-connected, postmodern global society, in which knowledge is increasing exponentially every second. Through my continuing education, I have studied ancient methods of facial diagnosis (which aids in determining the condition of one's health and predispositions based on discolorations, lines, and other markings on one's face, as well as the size and form of the facial features), ancient methods of treating infertility & menstrual irregularities (which have proven to be highly effective for centuries), ancient Taoist anti-aging therapies, and cutting-edge functional medicine diagnostic testing.
