Hi, I'm Becky and I own an Etsy shop called miesmama.
I specialize in all things felted - bags, keyrings, garlands, hair accessories, etc...Basically, anything you can knit and be felted, or can be made with wool felt - I'll love it and make it!
I also love to quilt and sew, Saturday is my quilt day, happiness! ♥
I'm also a mother of two, with Waldorf tendencies.

At the moment I'm part of four quilting bees which I am loving, it's a great way to play with different fabrics and challenges you to try quilt blocks that you may not have tried yourself.
Also, I love being part of some awesome flickr swaps, like the {Pillow Talk} swap, DQSwap, Potholder Pass, {Savvy Seasons} swap and the Scrappy Mug Rug swap. They keep me motivated to constantly be creative, keep my sewing machine going, and inspire me. They also lead me to buy lots of fabric, but thats not a bad thing right!
I love modern, designer quilt fabrics and kona for all the solids.
I love Heather Ross, Denyse Schmidt, Kokka, Alexander Henry, Anna Maria Horner, Nani Iro etc....
Fave lines at the moment are Far, Far Away 1 and 2, Katie Jump Rope, FMF of course, Willow, Farmdale, Little Folks, Good Folks, Munki Munki always, etc.....
and my fave color combos to date are; grey as a base color to brights; grey and yellow; orange, grey and white; red, white and linen; love the look of linen but tend to use the kona essex linen mix myself as it's easier to work with.

I get all my inspriation from the talent that abounds within these flickr walls, thank you for that, and happy sewing!
