hi i'm ellen aka: streetnoodles

i was born in a small farming community in california, but spent most of my adult life in the san francisco bay area...berkeley/oakland or the east bay to most.

i met & married my "boy toy" husband ;) there and when we started to look for a house...we realized we couldn't afford anything decent for under a million :(

so we moved back to that small little town i grew up in as a child & bought my dad's old house.

the hardest thing to get use to was the music...when you're use to progressive rock than suddenly find yourself in the land of country music, it's a bit of a shocker....BUT i must say, i'm getting use to it & like it, tho my hubby thinks my musical taste-change is akin to the "moonies" & brainwashing :)

another thing i love now is the yard...i actually have one now...plus we can have pets now...without having to hide them from a landlord...i think i'm in heaven :)
