...I studied painting at the École Nationale Superieure des Beaux-arts in Paris, and at the City College of New York... I've decided to house a lot of the images of my work at Flickr, as well as some source imagery for projects... This is my more informal website. My work hovers around the issue of mediation and visual narratives. I am drawn to representations of the "apocalyptic-sublime". My source imagery comes from photographs that I sample from the internet. Each painting is done in one go, almost like a performance. It interests me that art and documentary methodologies seem to be pitted against each other...
