I am Rosita (Artist name : Damona-Art), born in the 70's and raised in Oostende (Belgium) and lived there until my 23th.
Now I live in the neighbourhood of Brussels/Leuven. I started digital photography about 5 years ago now and still enjoy it.
It all began with Nature and trees......then I started Urbexing and still i was not satisfied with what I was doing. Models were added to urbex places to give more feeling en meaning to my photos. Anyone can take shots of places that are lost, but it's only special when there is something on it which makes it exceptional.

However these places became very rare and again 'I did not feel satisfied again'. At that time I started to go to photographyshool to become a better Studio photographer, still I learned more by myself and have searched and created my own style just by doing and having my vision of what I wanted, not just following certain rules (I hate rules).

Cause of some models I got to know, I came into the world of Vintage/Retro PinUp, there I found what I was looking for. Finally something that is really challenging for me! It was a whole new world that appeared to me and I liked it.
Now it all makes sence...cause of many other themes I have photographed in the past, I have more experience with Photoshop and have grown to what I am now because of that.
Women are important in the world and I want to show the elegancy and beauty of women in a way that people say 'Damn, that lady looks breathtaking'. with respect to the feminin body and mind.

I have my own studio at home and enjoy it very much, it's nice and cosy in winter when it's cold outside, however shooting on location can be very exciting and fun. You will find a huge variety in my photos, but I guess that makes me grow and pushes me into my limits of knowledge.....Like I still like to experiment with polaroid and latex too :-)
