I have been in photography since the days when Kodachrome was the film of choice (we'll not go into how many years ago that was). Back in those days, I had numerous photos published in textbooks and editorial magazines.

I use Photoshop, onOne, and Photomatix extensively. A few times a year, I'll even break out the Olympus OM-2 and shoot some Fujichrome Provia or Kodak Ektar film just for grins.

Most any photographic subject is fair game for me. My specialties are model portfolios, automobiles, landscapes and cityscapes in HDR, and nighttime Strobist subjects. What I really enjoy is going out with groups of photographers for social photographic events.

Things that get me excited:
Under $700 Canon USM prime lenses
Multiple Speedlites used to take a picture (the more the merrier)
Colored cellophane gels (to put over those Speedlites!)
Indirect outdoor light
Scrims and reflectors
Headshots of really pretty females (especially if I took the shot)
Wicked HDR shots (anyone's, of course)
Provia and Velvia slide film
Chrome (lots of it!)
Dark chocolate (lots of it!)
Snapple Peach or Raspberry Ice Tea (lots of it!)

Turn offs:
Canon vs. Nikon debates
Laptop computers and notebooks
Texting
>4x zoom lenses
Slow zoom lenses (you know, the f5.6 and f6.3 types)
Lenses being used without a hood
Most cameras without some kind of viewfinder
Most tatoos on women
Avocados
Mayonnaise
Spinach
