Sono di Firenze.

Mi occupo soprattutto di fotografia di scena e di spettacolo (teatro, danza, musica).
Quando mi trovo a dover realizzare un servizio relativo ad uno spettacolo non mi interessa solo la documentazione dell'evento in sé, ma anche e soprattutto il riuscire a fermare le suggestioni che questo stimola in chi lo vive, sia come protagonista (l'artista), sia come spettatore.

Ma oltre al palcoscenico c'è la notte...
La fotografia è per definizione l'arte di disegnare con la luce: paradossalmente mi affascinano quelle situazioni in cui la luce viene quasi a mancare, perché è proprio in tali circostanze che se ne apprezza il valore.
Mi piace scoprire la bellezza della luce di notte, quando apparentemente è tutto buio e per accorgerti di ciò che hai intorno devi finalmente fermarti.

I am a based in Florence (Italy) photographer.
I attend to stage, music and theatre photography; I am interested also in night photography.

I consider shooting a concert or a play in theatre or a ballet not only recording an event; I like sharpening the emotions of people who live the event, both artist and spectator.

For my personal works, night photography is the kind of photography I prefer. Photography is the art of drawing with light: paradoxically I am fascinated by situations where light is almost missing, where light is particularly worthy.
I like finding out the beauty of nocturnal light, when everything is apparently dark and I finally have to stop in order to see what is around me.
