Alfrodull's photostream  

Ok so after removing every single photo, quitting every single group and removing almost all of my contacts about a year ago, I finally got around to rebuilding my presence on flickr. In the meantime I started a blog "Alfrodull" and got that settled on a more or less stable schedule, started going back to school for my second masters degree, and I also have been swamped at work. So I've missed flickr and all of you, and hope you have missed me.

I appreciate ALL comments, but I appreciate comments without the award images even more because I would rather read what you have to say, than scroll through another gif image.

If you see yourself in my photographs...

I do take photographs out on the street, so it is not a big surprise that there are strangers in my photographs. In the remote case that you see yourself in one of my photographs I would like to remind you that:

- Members of the public have virtually no privacy rights when they are in public places. Basically, anyone can be photographed without consent except when they have secluded themselves in places where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy such as dressing rooms, restrooms, medical facilities, or inside a private residence. This legal standard applies regardless of the age, sex, or other attributes of the individual.

- Photographing private property from within the public domain is legal, with the exception of an area that is generally regarded as private, such as a bedroom, bathroom, or hotel room. In some states, there is no definition of "private," in which case there is a general expectation of privacy. Should the subjects not attempt to conceal their private affairs, their actions immediately become public to a photographer using an average lens or video camera.

Your Intellectual Property...

All photographs in my photostream are taken by me, with the exception of images in the set Blog Photographs. These images DO NOT belong to me, but to the best of my knowledge they are in the public domain, and I try to add credits to them as best as I can. If you think I have not given where I should have, or own the rights to an image on that set and want me to take a particular action about it please contact me through flickr mail.


My Intellectual Property...

All images in my photostream (with the exception mentioned above, or unless stated otherwise) were created by me.
Most of these images are photographs taken by me over the years. Therefore;

If you want to use any of my images, in any capacity or form please let me know beforehand by sending me a flickr mail.

If you want to use my images in a non-commercial capacity (for example, in your blog post...) it is very likely that I wouldn't mind that at all;
- Just let me know you are going to do so
- Give me credit in the image caption or in other form where it is obvious that the image is mine
- You can use "Jason Onur Gok", "Jason Gok", "Onur Gok", "Gok", "J. O. Gok" or "Alfrodull" when you credit me.
- If you use the image in digital media, make sure there is a link bact to either the image page on flickr, my photostream, or my flickr profile.
- If you use the image in printed form, make sure the URL tou either one of these is printed somewhere as well.
- Make sure to send me, via flickr mail, the link to where and how you used the image, or if it was printed, a photo of that. I ask for this, becaouse I would be happy to see what you have done with my images.

If you want to use my images commercially (for example on the box of your newest breakfast cerial, or as a centerfold in you magazine...) please contact me FIRST. It is very likely that I will allow you to use the image for very reasonable terms because I want as many people as possible to see them. But still ask for permission first, it is the nice way to do things. Once I say yes, (and unless we come to an agreement otherwise);

I appreciate your comments and favorites on my photos. I try to at least mark as favorite your photograps that I like, and try to comment as much as I can. If you see something you like, or something you want to comment on, constructive criticism included, in my photostream please don't hold back.
