Steve Thompson images (no uploads as PC dead!)'s photostream  

I live in Lancaster in the North West of England which gives me wonderful access to some superb countryside and coastline including Morecambe Bay, The Lakes and Yorkshire Dales as well as some more hidden parts of Lancashire. I also enjoy travelling and photographing other beautiful parts of the word especially the Alps.
My site hopes to showcase the beauty of the natural world capturing the emotional intensity of the landscape. I will often go out in bad weather over good and stay high to maximise the best light. If my images tend to the dramatic that is deliberate. I also try to find places that are not so 'on the map'.
I feel that Landscape Photography is an art requiring a lot of time, effort and patience and is a continual journey of learning and improvement. There are so many stunning landscape images on Flickr but looking and learning from these has certainly raised my own standard.

I am happy to have contacts (particulary if you have an interest in good quality Landscape) but due to work and family committments can struggle to comment on all images- I will do my best and 100% appreciate all those who take the time to comment on mine being more than happy for that to be constructive.
