My name is Nick. I live in in Western New York.

I'm a tropical minded guy trapped in a Northeastern town where the winters are cold and blustery. Aside from the winters, it's a beautiful place to live as the seasons change each year leaving their distinct visual marks on the Buffalo area landscape. There is always something to look forward to photographically with the coming of each one.

Furthermore, I'm a self proclaimed, devout and humble, Pele worshipper of the north ever since I visited Hawaii back in 2005. I have a huge reverence and obsession with Hawaii for reasons that are hard to explain unless you've been there. Needless to say, that Pacific tropical island has has touched my life and how I view the world.

My time spent editing photos from my Hawaii trip with Photoshop blossomed into a big hobby to produce more photographs, and I cannot explain where this desire comes from. Perhaps I want to capture and arrest all the eye candy I witnessed in Hawaii by trying to find the same where I live and show the world through my photographs.

In April of 2009, I purchased my first DSLR, and I've been in love with all things camera since then. There is no going back to life pre-DSLR.
