Hi!
I have only really discovered my interest in photography in the past few years. Probably because my parents always guarded their film camera from me (in my hands half the roll of film would be photos of our cat!). I like taking photos to share with others things I have seen or noticed but so many others just pass by. It is a general rule of thumb that I take my camera everywhere. As Murphy's Law would have it, I always see great photo opportunities when I don't have my camera with me!
I haven't chosen a particular area of photography to focus on which is why I have a range of different photos on my stream - landscapes, portraits, macros, animals, b&w, sepia, etc, etc.
One project which I worked on last year was Paint! a collection of self portraits in which I painted myself in various patterns, colours, etc. The book can be found here =)
I think it nearly goes without saying that please, do not use my photographs without my permission and also, please do not add me as a contact if you have questionable content in your photostream or in your favourites. Thank you =)

I only know Nic from being here on flickr, but I have enjoyed her photos from day one. You never know what you're going to find in her photostream, so everyday I look forward to seeing what her great 'eagle eye' has captured on camera for the day.
